[Reizer Atma]

In the middle of an open grass field, appearing in a tremendous streak of purple lightning flashes, followed by a a light earthquake. Up from the ground, covered in dirt and rubble was a stone...gateway, or at least it seemed like a gateway. The carving was in the form of two sides of a head, each looking the opposite direction to form a third head. The one of the left was frowning, the one on the right was grinning, and the one in the middle was an open mouth. Inside was a pitch black vortex that not even direct sunlight had an affect on. Once the door was discovered, troops were sent in to investigate what was on the other side. What came out were confused and borderline psycotic soldiers. They were the same people, on the outside...but, something had happened to their minds, as if the gate, or whatever was beyond it, had driven them completely insane. The militar has been on the lookout for those with unique skills and abilities, as well as mental focus, to go to the other side of the gate and put a stop to whatever had driven these people...mad.

An army officer enters a dark tent, the light peeking into the camouflage shelter. He sits down at a small table supporting a flimsy lamp. The lamp is turned on, with only one side - the officer's side - provided with bright illumination. The opposite side of the table is cloaked in shadows, but a presence is certainly there, stacking his legs on the small table playing with what looks to be a sharp knife. The army officer looks reluctant, giving a large sigh before beginning conversation with the mysterious shadow in front of him, "Look... we're not asking for much. The army is desperate, that's why we're looking to you for assistance."

"Hmph, you're pathetic," said the shadowy man, "What makes you think, after all of that chasing, after all of that conviction, and all of that 'law enforcement', that I would decide to help the government with this? Let's face it...," he twirls a knife and sticks it into the table, "your chances with me aren't looking too sharp, chief."

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

A gray helicopter with the insignia of Omni Consumer Products' Security Concepts Division hovered over the field and started to descend towards the tents. Inside the large cargo helicopter, was OCP Crime Prevention Unit Zero Zero Two, RoboCop Model 001, Station Square Police Department's Cy-Fox unit, also known as Miles Aloysius "Tails" Prower.

The armored cyborg was offline, but as soon as the OCP helicopter touched the grass, it was immediately woken by the helicopter's computer, which was running a program dedicated to monitoring the fox. The back door opened and the fox stepped out of the locker-like space it was enclosed in.

Cy-Fox turned its head, its graphical interface overlay not online yet. Its status was reflected in the old way, lime green text imposed over what it was seeing.

LOADING GRAPHICAL OVERLAY...

The graphical overlay was one of the many improvements that made him technically superior to his predecessor, OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001 - Alex Murphy. It was represented by a dark blue overlay around what he was currently seeing, with graphical displays of data and system functions. It could be dismissed in exchange for certain displays.

He had nothing to do yet, so he began to walk out of the cargo hold. As soon as he stepped out, two ED-209 combat droids raised their heads and began to follow. They were supposedly there to watch and help the fox, but Tails thought it most likely that he was their babysitter with the way ED-209s have been working (since 2000)

A small hovercraft soon arrived on the scene, touching down close to the gate. Out of it stepped a gray wolf anthro in what looked like a lab coat. His hands were covered by a pair of white gloves, a data pad in one hand and some sort of scanner in the other. He stood in front of the gate, scanning it curiously."Hmm..."he attatches the scanner to the pad and a window opens up, a flood of information moving down the screen. He strolls into the tent with one of the military officers."Well, I've confirmed it is indeed a gateway, though, it doesn't seem to lead anywhere on this plane of existance. I know this sounds crazy, but, it opens up into another dimention. I'd like to send a group in, not a large one, but a small task force if you will. Whatever caused those soldiers to go insane, my biotic implants will be able to guard against it. I'd strongly advise sending in people with high mental focus."Before the officer cound answer, one of the soldiers called from outside."Sir, come quickly! Captain Anderson came back from the gate!"The wolf and the officer rush outside. Standing in front of the gate was a human male with black hair and brown eyes, thoguh he was dressed nothing like a soldier. He was in a slghtly tacky, yet fashionably well made outfit. However, he looked utterly confused, holding his head as a group of people gathered around him.

Cy-Fox and the ED-209s joined the group, the cyborg moving towards the center, starting to scan the gate and also the Captain.

[Reizer Atma]

"No...no this can't be...e-everything is wrong! Stay back, I-I'll kill you!"the captain threatens before pulling a knife, going after the first person he sees, a look of fear and confusion in his eyes.

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

Tails didn't see any threat in the knife, but the three ED-209s reacted, their cannons that served as their arms arming.

"Put down your weapon.." each said. "You have twenty seconds to comply."

[Reizer Atma]

The man came lunging toward them in blinded confusion. He wouldn't get far as a tranquilizer hit him in his back, his forward run turning into an outright slum onto the ground, going out cold in moments. The wolf from befor steps through the crowd, putting the medical gun away."He'll be fine."

[Rudeboy Krazy]

The officer leading the dealing with the mysterious being stepped out of the tent to see what the ruckus was about. Behind him, the shadowed man stepped out, revealing a possum anthro wearing strange tights colored shades of purple, with a belt that carried ten sheathes holding knives. The mask was the same primary color as the suit, with part of a jester's hat in the back and two letters "L" and "H" marked in large font on the forehead. The officer looked back at him, "You should know, that costume looks ridiculous. I'm apart of a strict military operation here, and your lousy wardrobe doesn't fit the bill." The costumed caper responded, "You ain't the boss of me, chief... so what just happened there?" Inspecting the crowd, the officer said, "It appears Anderson has returned from the gate... another victim." After a pause, the possum wrinkled his brow and said, "Fine, I'll help you, but from now on I don't take orders from you. I'm not doing this for the military, I'm doing this for the lives at stake. Stop sending in soldiers because it won't do any good. Leave this to me, chief." He looked to the officer with a smirk, "Legal Homicide is on the job."

[Reizer Atma]

"I'll go in as well, I'll be able to send you feedback from the other side. Just lock onto my frequency and we should have an open line of communication...as long as the doorway isn't blocked. Anyone else think they can handle it?"the wolf looked around. The soldiers all looked sceptical, some of them afraid.

[Rudeboy Krazy]

The superhero looked at the wolf and said, "So... excuse the interruption, but who are you?" Waiting for an answer, he sits down in a nearby chair and assumes a relaxed position.

His wings were 5 feet in width and his eyes were a crimson blood red with a white stripe over his right eye. He waited patiently in front of the portal with a dark smirk on his face waiting for his next victim. His name.... is Fear.

You do NOT join peoples rps and randomly change major plots, when you join you join the side that they've said that you can be.

He never said that it was allowed to suddenly show up and be the great evil of his rp. There is a first post that you HAVE to read before joining an rp. And this rp was only at the start of the second page, so you could of taken the time to read what had already happened too.

This is the second time you've gone and balantly ignored what has been said before and thus earned yourself a warn.

The wolf slowly turned to the odly dressed opposum, raising a brow."My name is Dokneth, I'm a scientist and researcher in many fields. I want to know where this gate leads, whats behind it, and what we can do to make it stop."

Legal Homicide held a confident smirk. "Well then Dokneth... it appears that none of these soldiers have the guts to cross this gate," He stood up, walked to the scientist, and continued, "It just so happens that I agreed to help you out recently. That's right, I'm on your side." His smirk changed to a sarcastic expression at the soldiers, "You can trust me, I've dealt with supervillains before..."

[Reizer Atma]

"I don't think we'll find any supervillans behind that thing, but I know whatever is doing this isn't playing around. Why sully your hands killing someone when you could just make them go nuts?"

[Rudeboy Krazy]

Legal Homicide faced the gateway and placed his hands upon his hips. "I'm ready whenever. I can take on whatever is behind there... all I'm worried about is how powerful the thing really is." He turned his head to Dokneth, "So, do you have a plan of action or are we just going to wing it?"

[Reizer Atma]

"We can't really be sure of whats on the other side until we go there ourselves, since all the soldiers who went to the other side eneded up like that guy."

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

"I have a suggestion." Miles said, the ED-209s going back to readiness mode. "Send one of these forwards with a camera feed. If there's trouble, it can either deal with it, or double back."

[Rudeboy Krazy]

The superhero looked to the robotic fox. "You know, the cyborg has a point," He pointed his head to Dokneth and continued,"There should to be a way we can first send a scout instead of just risking our lives in a place we aren't familiar with."

[Reizer Atma]

Dokneth rubs his chin."Well, I do value the use of sophistocated technology...Alright, we'll give it a go. We won't be able to get anything, all transmissions are being jammed from inside."

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

ED-209 Unit 055 then lumbered forward, its elephantine feet pushing grass and dirt deep into the ground. It turned its head section to the left and right, as it approached the portal. It then halted in front of the energy disruption, awaiting final orders.

"Send it in." Dok saya, pulling up a data pad, waiting for the machine to go in.

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

209-55 then stepped inside the disruption. The Cy-Fox unit stood there, Auto-9 machine pistol at the ready in case 209-55 doubled back, insane like the soldier that came out. Insane enough to fire off its 20mm auto-cannons without any control or its rocketry.

(Okay, it's up to the originator to determine what happens to 209-55)

[Kursed]

Valkyre flickered her ear as she watched the others in front of the gate from her hidding spot behind a rock. She smirked as Valkyre waited. Valkyre shuffed her foot which sturred up the dust around her, She sneezed.
Valkyre quickly clutched her muzzle just in case she had been heard.

[Reizer Atma]

The 209-55 continued into the void. However, neither it nor anyone else looking through it's field of vision could see anything. The radar had nothing, same with motion sensors. "Hm...thats no good. Looks like we'll have to go in ourselves."

[Rudeboy Krazy]

Legal Homicide looked to Dokneth. "What about - nevermind. Lets just go!" The possum stomped to one side of the gateway and leaned against it. "Ready when you are..." He pulls out a dagger from a pocket in his tights' legging.

[Kursed]

Valkyre slightly stood up, She tensed her muscles ready to run.

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

Cy-Fox then raised one hand in the standard 'Hold' position. The cyborg turned its head and started towards Valkyre's position, having picked up the sneeze. The RoboCop class-cyborg began to start filtering that specific area with thermographic and X-ray scans.

[Kursed]

Valkyre growled, flattening her ears. The female cat-robot leapted forward out of her hidding space facing the advancing Cyborg. Her glowing yellow eyes flashed and her clawed hands raised.

[Reizer Atma]

"I'd put your hands behind your head if I were you." Dok suggests as his robotic arm shifted into a buster cannon, a blue half visor over his eye on the same side, locking onto her. The soldiers around the area all had their guns pointed at her as well."We have enough problems with this crazy gate, we don't need any more vilence."

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

The remaining ED-209s punctuated that by turning and arming their cannons. "Put down your weapons." they said in unison. "You have twenty seconds to comply."

Cy-Fox raised its hand in the hold position again. "Stand down."

The 209 units then slightly bent their 'heads' and lowered their cannons. "Standing down."

"All of you stand down." it then said. Then it turned its head towards the cat-bot. "We do not wish to harm."

[Rudeboy Krazy]

The possum superhero forced himself off of the gateway and stood there staring at Valkyre. 'Oh geez, this is just random', was the first thought to pop in his head. He began to move forward but then stopped, stepped back, formed his arms into a pouting position and leaned against the one side of the gateway.

[Kursed]

Valkyre caimed down and stood normally, her ears remained flat.

"You don't scare me anyway" She spoke. "So why do want to go in there anyway, I've been watching it every since I almost flew into it while I was flying."

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

"In order to investigate a potential danger to the civilian population." Miles said. Or at least that was what Everest told me back at OCP he thought.

[Reizer Atma]

"We want to find out whats made all those peope who went inside come out crazy."Dok adds, his arm shifting back tonormal."You're welcome to coem along, as long as you don't snap on us."

[Kursed]

"Depends on why I would snap at you," Valkyre walked past Dok.

[Reizer Atma]

"Well, you could go insane and try to kill all of us, like the last guy who came out of that doorway."He points to the soldier, then to the door.

[Rudeboy Krazy]

Out of apparent boredom Lethal Homicide began examining the dagger he was holding. He looked up at Valkyre, then turned his head to Dokneth. "I have a bad feeling about this girl..." he said under his breath. He threw his dagger up, skillfully caught it as it came down, sheathed it, then said out loud,"Alright people, lets get this over with!" He motioned toward the gateway.

[Reizer Atma]

"He's right, the sooner we find out whats causing this and put a stop to it the sooner we can all go home."Dok nods."Lets get going they."

[Kursed]

Valkyre smirked, and walked into the gate.

[Reizer Atma]

Dok looks at the other two and motions with his hand."Who's next?"he asks, raising a brow, looking from one to the other.

[Rudeboy Krazy]

"I'll go next", said the costumed possum and he leaped through the gate.

[Reizer Atma]

Dok shrugs his shoulders as he follows after the oddly dressed member of their little group, the lot of them wandering into the cold, dark vortex that seemed endless.

[Miles the Cy-Fox]

Cy-Fox was one of the last to go in, with an ED-209-A going in front of him. The cyborg's internal systems hummed as it/he moved. When he was in the portal, the hum seemed to disappear.

[Reizer Atma]

"Looks like the void cancels out anything trying to get out from the other side...No sound, no vibrations, not even light can get in or out."

[Kursed]

Valkyre looked around.

"Rusty!" She tried yelling hoping for an answer. Please dont let this be what drives them mad.

After traveling for what seemed like forever, the group finally catches a glimps of light, hopefully the other side of the gate.

Valkyre ruffled her hidden wings and bolted forward, unfluring her wings and disappearing into the light.

Legal Homicide ran into the light, covering his eyes with his arms as the light grew with intensity. He ended with a tumbled charge through the great shine.
