I assume most of you know this fag pretty well by now. But for those who dont:



Name: Solitaire Mattis
Gender: Male
Species: Timber wolf/Tundra wolf

Personality:
-Quiet and withdrawn - Soli has very poor social skills, and because of this he doesn't do well talking to people, especially those he doesnt know. He's never the one to go if you want a nice conversation with someone; when spoken to, he will typically respond with only a few words, if he even responds at all. because he only feels comfortable with people he knows and gets along with, making friends is pretty difficult for him, but in his opinion friends only get in the way anyway.
-Sarcastic- Many people don't appreciate Soli's attitude much of the time, as he tends to be very sarcastic. Because these people usually don't know him too well, they don't realize much of it is only him joking around. For people he does get along with, however, they typically don't mind it and even find his sarcastic remarks humorous.
-Friendly- It may seem unlikely, but for people he's known a long time Soli can be pretty nice. One of his very few friends is Claira Jones, who Soli's known quite literally since the day she was born. Because she's known him her whole life, Claira thinks he's nice and sometimes doesnt understand why he has so much trouble with other people.
-Blunt- Soli doesn't speak much, but he has no problem giving his honest opinion on something. However, because of his brutally honest and blunt nature, what he has to say sometimes is offensive to the person he's speaking to. He never seems to care though, and if someone becomes angry because of something he's said, he will just shrug it off tell you to deal with it. He also has no problem letting someone know when they're pissing him off.


Likes:
-Being alone- It's unsure why, but Soli's never been much of a people person and was never good at assocciating with others. *see personality*
-Cold weather- Soli always wears pants, never shorts, so to him hot weather is especially unbearable. Not to mention, its harder to get comfortable on hotter days which makes it difficult to sleep at night.
-music/videogames- Probably a bit stereotypical for a teenager, Soli is takes his iPod everywhere and plays videogames at home if there's nothing good on TV.
Favorite music genres: Rock, punk, a little metal, though he's listen to just about anything if he thinks it sounds good.
Favorite game genres: Survival horrors usually, such as Silent Hill or Resident Evil. Sometimes plays rythm games such as Guitar Hero. Though he isnt very good at them, he may on occassion play some sort of puzzle-solving game.
-Coffee- Soli's a bit like many adults in that coffee tends to put him a more agreeable mood.

Dislikes:
-Being Bothered- even if he isnt in the middle of anything important, Soli cant stand being bothered. It's mainly because of his dislike of other people.
-Children- In his opinion, children are obnoxious because they always want to play, bother other people, and cry nonstop if they don't get their way.
-Whiney people- Everyone has problems, and Soli hates it when people act like their problems are worse than anyone else's. To him they're only after attention and when someone complains he find no problem telling them to knock it the fuck off.

Strengths:
-Agile/athletic- Soli has a relatively sedentary lifestyle- his doesn't excercise very much and when he does go somewhere it's usually by driving. Still, he's surprisingly agile, which may me due in part because of his species, as wolves are hunters and need to be very fast to catch prey.
-skilled at videogames- Soli has no job, and thus has alot of time on his hands, so its not hard to imagine he's taken sometime to hone his skills with a controller.

Weaknesses:
-short tempered- Though usually in a relatively relaxed mood, Soli can be very quick to anger. To people like Claira who have known him for so long this is never a problem, as she knows what angers him and avoids them, but to others it makes him seem quite unlikeable.
-puzzle solving- Soli's never been good with puzzle solving, and he often gets frustrated and gives up on them. Still, he likes the challenge and likes games or activities that require a lot of thought.

Fur: Brown w/ tan muzzle, ears, chest/stomach, white marks between nose and on back/tail.
Hair: Blonde. has very short, choppy hair in back and bangs in front that part in the middle
Eyes: light blue
Clothing: oversized black T shirt, saggy blue jeans w/ zippers on sides of legs, black Converse sneakers, white undershirt
Other: Shotbead necklace and cross necklace (string being wrapped around a few times), studded wrist band and metal beads on left wrist, wrist band with several black bracelets on right wrist, studded belt with a chain on belt loops, tongue peircing.

This bio's a little short for me personally, but I suppose that's just because most people already basically know him.

However, just as a stand alone profile, this certainly isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it particularly good. The personality is fairly stereotypical, if not archetypical, but interesting none the less. I would suggest expanding on it, in order to make him a more unique individual. Perhaps you could give him a history, explaining why he's the way he is, or maybe tell us about how he interacts with friends specifically, so that we the readers know exactly what you mean by "pretty nice guy." In any case, I would recommend adding to the personality in some way, as it's kind of vague and general as is.

A history is notably lacking. I know you don't want to give him one, but that doesn't stop it from detracting from the profile. He will never be as good as he would be with one. A bgs is important because it is the only section in a standard profile in which we actually get to know the character. It shows us what he's like through example, which is rather important. A list like, "Quiet, tends to keep to himself ... This is often mistaken for arrogance," is rather vague, and ineffective. A history, or at least some examples of him in action, would allow us to know your character on a much deeper level.

The likes, and dislikes are fairly self-explanatory, but I would recommend putting them into a

list format, and then explaining why he dislikes each individual thing. Although this may seem redundant and self explanatory, it can often provide insight into the character. For instance, "Dislikes company because he's constantly working on some new project, and hates being interrupted," describes a completely different person than, "Dislikes company because of the secrets they might discover."

The physical description is a little lacking, but you have a reference, so it doesn't really matter.

Overall, it's ok. I give it a 4/10. What it has is very good, but it doesn't really have enough, imho.

Yeah I know the "loner" personality is a bit overused, but I made him as such because he is based very heavily off me, and I tend to be very withdrawn and can't stand being around other people.

Soli isn't an Role Playing character or anything, so I didn't feel it was necessary to add too much more info. He's just an average teenager really, with no special abilities or anything. He doesnt fight or anything, and doesnt have any sort of goal in life, and I dont have any story planned out for him, which made making up his biography a bit difficult.

Though I see what you mean on expanding certain aspects such as Likes/Dislikes, and Personality, and I will try to add more to those, but I cant promise I will be able to fix much else. If you like, I would appreciate it if you came back after its fixed and re-evalutated it.
