Powers;
- Transform Self; Malcolm has the ability to transform into his superhero counterpart, Legal Homicide. Once transformed, he has all of the powers and abilities of the superhero, but he does not keep them when he turns back into his original form. When in the form of Legal Homicide, Malcolm gains the following new powers;
- Knife Play; Legal Homicide is a master at juggling and wielding all kinds of knives and daggers. He is even able to use these skills to throw these sharp objects with unnatural precision. He simply targets an enemy and throws one of his weapons to hit them. This power is not restricted to knives and the like either. Any sort of object with a similar structure as a knife, like a sharp piece of metal, can be used in the same way as any knife or dagger. The damage dealt by this power increases depending on how stationary the target is. The faster and harder to hit a target is, the less damage Legal Homicide deals and vice versa. This is Legal Homicide's signature move.
- Reincarnation; Legal Homicide has a special power called "Reincarnation", where he can heal mortal wounds that he would normally die from. Strangely, this ability does not apply to small or moderate wounds dealt to him. If enough lesser wounds are dealt to Legal Homicide, he will weaken and fall prey to very damaging wounds that he would normally be able to heal.
- Tenacious Charge; Legal Homicide is pretty tough and agile. He can even temporarily boost these two attributes to superhuman levels. Using this to his advantage, he may perform a super-powered charge into battle that knocks back anyone caught in the charge. Unfortunately the delay at the end of the charge leaves him vulnerable to attacks.
- Stabbing Cyclone; Using his expert knife wielding skills, Legal Homicide can shoot a powerful tornado of butchery and slicing directly in front of him. This is his most powerful move and it quickly drains his energy after using it, sometimes risking death. However, the magnitude of this superpower is so great, it causes enemies caught in the cyclone to be critically wounded. Legal Homicide's Reincarnation cannot heal fatal wounds caused by the aftershocks of this power at first. He must wait a while for his healing to take effect.
- Return Thrown; The most supernatural of Legal Homicide's abilities is the power to return knives and daggers that he has thrown as if he had telekinesis. This power is activated using Legal Homicide's will, controlling when he wants to have the weapon returned. However the concentration needed to return his weapons can be broken by very large distractions including attacks, explosions, and effects that would stun, disorient, etc.
Strengths; Agile, charismatic, high self-esteem, deep thinker
Weaknesses; Not very strong, light weight, sometimes loses his esteem

Biography; Malcolm A. Possum was once a shy, quiet young adult in the giant metropolis of New York City. He had few friends in high school, but he had enough experience in journalism after graduation to earn a position working for New York Times. He lead a pretty mellow life, living in a lonely apartment and never really going out on his own. However, this average possum was turned into much more after he witnessed the robbery of a small antique store. The crooks that made their escape dropped a silvery, metallic lamp. In an attempt to bring the valuable back to its rightful owner he experienced a mass of energy enter him through the lamp. The energy changed his mood completely and after returning the lamp he returned home. After reaching his apartment, Malcolm began to feel woozy and strange. All of a sudden Malcolm experienced the same flow of energy as before, only this time he had transformed into the super-powered genie of knife play; 'Safra Jinn' (Knife genie). This genie was a strict vigilante - one who could not tolerate crime or vice. Dressed in purple spandex and wielding an array of sharp tools, the genie later became known as 'Legal Homicide'. And every night after the incident, Malcolm roamed the urban streets of New York to punish the guilty and save the innocent as none other than the 'Legal Homicide'.

Pros:

Original species. I've never seen a possum character before and I like the originality. Also like the addition of favorite food, drink, etc.

Cons:

I personally have never been a fan of the whole superhero thing. But if that's what you want, then keep it. I just dont go for it.

There's too many abilities. I for one think you need to limit his powers a bit and maybe give strong or weak points for each one. I do like Reincarnation move in that it will only heal deadly wounds, not moderate ones, but I dont think it makes much sense. I think it should be the other way around; that the move can heal MODERATE wounds, not DEADLY ones. But thats just my opinion. Honestly the whole move seems a bit Godmod-ish. It gives him too much of an adventage in a fight. Even Superman has weaknesses.

But you've got a good start to a character here. I can tell you've put a lot of thought into it. Just tone down the powers a bit and you're good to go.

Thank you for the crits and comments. I'll tone down the powers and provide the weakness for every ability.

EDIT: Oh, and one last edit. I decided to add a theme song to fit the character.

EDIT: EDIT: Further edited for additions to personality, likes, and dislikes.
