This rp is based on Earth during the year 3588A.D., the human population and pollution produced as the byproduct of new energy source Emerium have reached crisis levels. The finest scientific minds in the world have gotten together and began Project Phoenix, the aim of this project being to find a new home for humanity. The human race has thrown their hopes into this project and thus the Future Protection Act was passed. Most of the human race has been locked in cities around the world and the cities are now segregated into two parts. In the Upper Tier reside workers essential to Project Phoenix and the maintenance of keeping the human race long enough for it to be fufilled. Engineers, scientists, army officials and the like...
Below that, beneath the pollution spewing vents of the Emerium reactors, is the Lower Tier where pretty much anyone who isnt useful to the project or those who couldn't buy their way into the Upper Tier reside. Here is where the majority of the criminals still reside, constantly engaged in battle with the merciless military. Many Lower Tier civilians die in the crossfire, from criminals or from the brutal law enforcement of the military who are practically as bad as the criminals. The gates to leave the city are heavily guarded and there are words on the street of Lower Tier residents being snatched...Every day in the Lower Tier is a struggle for survival...
There are rumours of some humans who escaped during the lockdown of the cities, who live tribal and often nomadic lives in the wastes. Infested with deadly creatures kmutated by the pollution, these villages are little safer than the cities...
I have an idea of a big story for this, but for now it can be an open rp to get things going and set the atmosphere. You can be pretty much anyone...A nomad out in the wastes? A sadistic military officer? A renegade trying to stya alive in the Lower Tier?
Be creative, im sure theres some of you out there with imaginations. :)
