First off, the OP must understand and accept the fact that spriting recolors is a poor display of experience. Skippy, you must see that you will most definitely receive harsh criticism if you simply present recolored sprites. I would suggest following the tutorial that Jaicei posted or you could even begin practicing new spriting skills on your own (begin with small edits and go from there).

Second, there is no excuse for any of you to begin a flame war over a few recolors. But since there's no point in attempting to further convince you all that you shouldn't be so damn rash, which would be ridiculous to attempt (especially on the internet), I will end my post here.
