Backstory:
Pyro was born on Paradox Island. An Island inhabited by fire worshipping Mobians. It wasn't long after Pyro was born, his parents noticed that he wasn't normal. The occasion burp of fire or something else catching fire was a bit of a clue.
There were 9 elders living on the Island, whom were in command of the Island, one of them being Taé, Pyro's Grandfather. Some of them saw Pyro's abilities as a gift from Yamammoto (their fire God), others saw it as curse, a warning.

The inhabitants of Paradox Island all worshiped Yamammoto daily, believing that he gave them the gift of their beautiful lush tropical Island, and this was their way of giving him thanks. Pyro on the other hand believed it all to be rubbish, a complete Hoax and waste of his time. This angered the Elders of the Island. They feared that Pyro's ignorance would anger their Gods cause the demise of their Paradise.

Then one night, while Pyro was asleep, he caused a mass explosion during a nightmare. The resulting explosion caused his Village to catch fire and burn uncontrollably. Most of the Villagers were killed, caught unaware by the flames, his Parents amongst the dead. The Elders called an emergency meeting. Their decision was that they must Banish Pyro, as he must of angered. Pyro himself felt betrayed, only his own Grandfather had defended him, all because of something he was born with, an accident. His parents were both dead, and he was banished from his own home.

Upon leaving the island on a small wooden boat Pyro fell into a state of spiraling depression. He barely knew where he was going. When he came to shore, he decided to go towards the mountains, where he knew he couldn't hurt anyone else. He traveled for many days. For the next few weeks he lived amongst the jagged rocks and harsh winds of the mountain. Whilst wandering along the narrow pathways of the mountain he spotted a mobian. The mobian was a brown Swallow. He looked to be old, around the age of 60 because of his aged skin. He was fighting of what seemed to be herd of Wolves with just a long wooden stick. In what seemed to be just a blur he took out all 4 wolves with just a few swift blows, and then picked the largest wolf and began to drag it to wherever he was heading. Pyro ran towards to Swallow and began following him. "What was that." The Swallow turned and stared at Pyro, as though he had not seen anyone else for years. "Its called Juego del Palo, the art of Stick Fencing."
"The names Pyro"
"Gust"
"So do you liv.." Just before Pyro could finish the sentence he sneezed, and sent a rush of flames out from his nose. The flames spread over the seemling dead wolf, engulfing it in fire for mere seconds. The wolf then appeared burnt, as though it had been in an oven for several several hours.
"Looks like you have a story or two to tell yourself boy."
Gust brought Pyro to his small cabin located in the mountains. There Pyro explained his story, he didn't mind repeating his tragedy, he was just glad to have any sort of company. Over the next year Gust taught Pyro the Art of Juego del Palo, as well as discipline. Over the following months Pyro learnt to have more control over his abilities through Meditation and Gusts teachings. The two became good friends, and Pyro held Gust in high respect.

Then one day, a mysterious mobian appeared. He was searching for Gust. The Mobian was named Melirax the Hawk. A bounty Hunter sent to kill Gust. Gust told Pyro that he had to flee and never return. Pyro could hear the cries of his mentor being burtally beaten as he ran away. Pyro above all else was stuborn at times. Despite his mentors warning he had to return at some point. The next day he returned to find nothing but the shattered remains of the log cabin where the two lived. He was devastated to say the least, nothing in his misfit life seemed to go right. He vowed to track down this bounty hunter and find out first of why his mentor was murdered, and then to get revenge.

Huh? Not a very bad character. Cool drawings. It could use some more descriptions on his personality though, then it could be better. Just maybe a small paragraph for different feelings

His name is Pyro, and he's pyrokinetic.

Predictable. Cute backstory though.

Advice though? Kill the shoes. Whip up a design for them.

Cute as the booties are, Tails has the market corned on them.
