Now for a few simple guidelines.

First, don't throw your character into the storyline of any pre-established story nor associate them with official characters, whether it's a video game, a movie, or a book. This only shows laziness and uncreativity.

Next, don't be afraid to branch out and experiment.

Third, if someone gives you criticism, take it. The only way we get better is through practice and input from others.
