Putting some of the more trivial stuff aside (eggman not the main villian, developers giving way too much of a shit about Shadow), Bioware looks like they'll be able to pull this one off. I like how it looks more natural, like Sonic's world, not like Sonic in the real world bullshit, and the art style is incredible.
No matter what happens, this one is going to be better than any other Sonic game lately (bioware has yet to let their fans down), so Sega had better fucking take notes.

1. Sonic Team isn't developing the game. Bioware is.

2. Game being developed by Bioware = win. Believe me, it won't suck.

This looks like a great game, and the plot and gameplay (from what I've seen at least) doesn't give way to repetitive trends that I see constantly occuring in newer Sonic games.

This game looks like it will be good, and if it weren't for being on the cover of Nintendo Power it might have gone largely unnoticed. It will get a good reception, a great one if Bioware does something truly epic, but the chances of that are slim.

I'm more worried about the next main Sonic game. I'm going to make an educated guess based on the Star Wars rule and say that it should be coming out sometime between the end of this year and the beginning of next, most likely for the Wii. Mario Galaxy has raised the bar, and I just hope that they've done something to at least come close, and dropped the last vestiges of the Sonic Adventure formula, because it's getting way too old.

That's probably part of the main story. Besides Sonic RPG sounds too boring. Secondly, when I read the magazine (yes, i subscribed to that AND Game Informer) they claim Big is going to be smarter. I think that is a good thing since Big is usually remembered as a stupid cat and I resent that. Anywho, I think this would be awesome to come and since I have a DS Im good to go.

I wouldn't judge it on the name, Super Mario Bros. isn't the most epic name, but alot would say that the game still is very good. ^^
