Just listening to music cannot cause you to fully understand it's awsomeness, as a matter of fact, I hate when some band's little fan boy comes along and is all "OMG I LOVE THIS BANDS MUSIC IS TOTALLY MUH LIFEE!!!111!!!"

Music is indeed a way of life, and one I quite enjoy. One of the things I do in my free time, is listen to songs and work out thier guitar, or piano parts. Only people who have played in a band, or group can fully comprehend music, otherwise it's just a pointless mesh of words, harmony, and melody, that you just say you like because it [i]sounds good[i].


I listen to every form of music, Rock, Metal, Alternative, pop, country, Rap, Hip-Hop, Classic, Jazz, and R&B.

As for my favirite bands: Vertical Horizon, Queen, Miles Davis, Phil Collins Train, Three Days Grace, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Switch Foot, Blink-182, Maroon 5, Kansas, Bowling For Soup, James Blunt, Shakira, Linkin Park, The X-Ecutioners The Black Eyed Peas, Goo Goo Dolls, Genisis Jay-Z, Bon Jovi, Nine Days, Boomtown Rats, Three Doors Down, Glen Millar, Lewis Armstrong, Billy Joel, Avril Lavigne, Nickleback, Simple Plan, Match Box Twenty, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springteen, Shinedown, Seal, Marilyn Manson(good music but still... what a freak >.<), Rod Stewart, RED, Los Lonely boys. Hans Zimmer is in it for his awsome instramentals, Third eye Blind, Simple Plan, Red Hot Chilly pepers Fort Minor, Evanescence, Dashboard Confessional, Mozart, and Beethoven, cover my classical interest. And you've provabaly never heard of her, but Sandy Feildsteen wrote a couple of my favrite jazz peices.

For me, I listen to just about anything. So long as I don't find it annoying or stupid, I might listen to it. I mainly go with Alternative Rock and Piano Rock though. Perhaps a few Old School songs, Classical and Jazz. So I guess that means I like artists like Five for Fighting, The Fray, and Coldplay, they're pretty cool.

I strongly dislike country and blues. (Johnny Cash is one exception.)
