Once every ten years, the Order of the White lotus, a collective of the greatest fighters in the world, hold a tournament on a privately owned island. The tournament is not only a test of skill to prove your strength, but also a trial of aniciation into the order. Only the greatest in the world may join the white lotus, and this tournament is a simple process of elimination to find the best of the best. However, the invitations to this tournament are just as deadly as the tournament itself. Those who are invited will be attacked by assassin's of the white lotus, bearing white garbs and the symbol of the order on their chests. If the selected fighter survives, then he/she is given an honorable invitation to the island.

(And now for the fun part. A few things to know about this rp, some of which will be mentioned to your characters. Firstly, This rp is for human characters only. If you don't have a human character then be creative and make one up, some on the spot characters are the best kind, its role playing! =3 Second, this rp will be violent, considering the fights are to the death. If you can't handle that kind of violence then don't join, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Finally, I'm trying to keep this somewhat realistic, so no blasting balls of energy and flying around like some cheesy DBZ ripoff. While a lot of the combatants may have higher strength than most 'average' human beings, most of the things they're going to do will be 'physically possible'. Just stick to those rules, and the usual RP forum rules and we're good.)
