There is now a Java chatroom for the IRC chat. You may access it via the Chat link at the top. If you logged in with the Remember Me box checked, it will automatically recognize your username. Otherwise, type /nick username to change it.

Thats awesome man! But there's a slight possibility that people might spam it up though.

That's fine. It's just an IRC chatroom so spamming isn't really a big deal. Plus, I have the ability to ban people.

It's always nice to have a chat room, but I'm one of these people who'd rather use the shoutbox.

totally agree. The shoutbox is simple just to talk onto and easily type messages and is viewed instantly.

Not to complain, but the Chatroom takes some effort to get to work, plus it requires Java, plus it's a bit tricky.

Java's not that difficult to install, and you could always download a different IRC client (http://www.mirc.com/).

Yeah, I'm usually on a computer that has Java, but sometimes I'm not, and I can't usually install it. Also, the others seemed to be having trouble getting in.
And it makes me wait... -_-
