Has anyone played this game for Wii? I have an I would not recommend it. The controls are very awkward. The Wii remote must be held sideways. Sonic will run forward no matter what. Jumping is done by pressing 2 and dashing is done by jerking the Wii remote forward. However, if accidentally press 2 again while in the air, Sonic will fall straight down, usually resulting in him falling in water or getting hurt. To steer Sonic, one must tilt the Wii remote left or right. This seems simple enough, but the controls are way too sensitive.
All in all, I would not recommend this game unless you really enjoy getting frustrated with bad control schemes.

Wow, that sounds bad. Lol, I'll take your advise, the past few Sonic games seem to have taken the series down hill haven't they? Sonic team keeps trying to be innovative, and messing up big time.

I have this game, and I think it's just all right. (But that's my opinion)
But Sonic Rush and the old Genesis/Megadrive 2d games were much better...
For those who actually cares, I have a world record on the 2nd last boss ...

At least Secret Rings follows the fact that Sonic moves fast. I heard in Sonic '06 he didn't move as fast.

Sonic and the Secret rings is an okay game to me, the controls are VERY VERY BAD indeed, but after playing it for 15:43 (says on my Wii) and made it up to Erazor Djinn (haven't played it since.. I think April because the Uhu did my head in) I finally completed all the levels and got used to the controls. And about Sonic 06, that's not true, he IS fast in that, he has these mach speed zones, search them on YouTube and see. But SatSR has the best stuff in it since SA2B. IMO that is though.
