They have been going to Hell recently, man. The artistic talent in the comics are gone, and the stories are, like, sissy shit, and all it is, at least to me, is pretty much Sonic and all the other characters fighting with love life and protecting their children, and they change the characters personalities. I think it's stupid. I think they need to give up on the series. They've lost their potential as far as I'm concerned.

((Not to fucking mention they've ripped off of Sonic Underground, and in one comic they call his son Manic, and then in the next they call him Manik.))

Yeah, I agree. The earlier comics were much better. The art in the new ones is a bit sharper, but I still really like the old ones the best.

I've collected Archie Comics since the first issue..Like alot of things, it goes uphill and is awesome for awhile, then it goes downhill and just sucks..Like Natla said, It has lost alot of potential. Besides, if they are experimenting with styles of artwork for it, they shoulden't issue it until they really think it's going to work..

What's the best story arc thus far? I've only got the past four issues...

I stopped collecting them last year. I didn't want to keep updating my orders anymore. I'm not even that much into Sonic like I used to be, so I just kind of stopped. I just got sick of the stupid artwork, and the new comics aren't worth a dime. The stories are always unfinished.

The way I look at it is that Archie Comics just lost its focus. Just look at the Xorda arc, that was genius. But they started to mess up from save Angel Island arc. The drawings started to look something like a sonic-cartoon version of sesame street. They just need more inspiration.

I haven't really been keeping up with the comics. I'll probably stop by my local comic book store and pick up some of the older issues.

I may not go buy the comics, but a friend of mine gets the comics monthly and they are pretty interesting. Even in #175, I was curious tyo know what was going to happen. One thing I just don't understand is that here we are talking about Sonic and all you do is criticize it!

I'm going to start going to my local comic book store and pick up more Sonic comics. Preferably older ones, since those are the best in my opinion.

Wow! I'm bumping up a really old thread xD
I remember that I had two comic books and I guess that those were some of the first ones that was published. Sally was still pink and had black hair in those books. I haven't read the newer ones, but I have heard stories and I hate it how much they have changed the personalities of the characters...

Honestly, I rather used to enjoy reading them..but I lost interest after the whole "Lost In Space" story arc. I keep up to date through a wiki, but the comic itself just doesn't cut it anymore.
