Now, Shadow the Hedgehog is a very cool character and one of my favorite characters of anything fictional. He's one of the characters who helped the Sonic atmosphere mature further, but however, the fans themselves, are not so mature. Not all of them but most of them. I wanted to include something about Super Shadow and here it is:
I've been noticing a very stupid problem about Shadow's super form and a lot of people seem to think differently about it. Shadow fans aren't very bright about it, because I'll clear it up for you: It is SUPER SHADOW, not HYPER SHADOW! The preffix 'Super' in this case, refers to a form powered by the Chaos Emerlds while the prefix 'Hyper' refers to forms powered by the Super Emeralds. The Super Emeralds exist only in Sonic and Knuckles/Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and can be obtained by meeting certain conditions. I'm going to go a little off topic to say that Tails is an exception. Because he is too young and not in as tone with the Emeralds as other indiviuals, he is referred to as Turbo Tails whereas the Super Emeralds are only able to transform him into Super Tails only. Now, onwards, there has only ever been a Hyper Sonic and Hyper Knuckles. Hyper Shadow is just an error made by the publishers of such strat guides because of their misconceptions on certain parts of the story. Furthermore, Super Shadow is NOT silver. In SA2 and its update, SA2:B and the games after it which has shown his super form, he has ALWAYS been a light gold metallic color. Those who mistakenly give Shadow this silver color are those who own the PAL version of Sonic Adventure 2/Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. This is merely nothing more than a glitch since in all future games, this color conversion is corrected. SEGA Superstars and Shadow the Hedgehog also give him this goldish color. Sonic X also does the same as well. Just wanted to clear that up because it's been 6 years and no one can seem to get this right. To further conclude my point it is Super Shadow, his filename is called SShadow when you hack the game. There is also a file called SSonic, which refers to Super Sonic. In Sonic X, Eggman refers to Shadow's super form as Super Shadow
There has also been a major problem with perceptions about Shadow, especially with his haters and most of his fans. The problem being is the immaturity I've been experincing. Most Shadow fans maybe somewhat...deliquent. They sometimes believe that this hedgehog should be with them instead of another female Sonic character. In a delusional state to believe that a fictional anthrmorphic hedgehog is completely absurd. Get real, seriously, you'll be better off with a real man rather than look to a hedgehog for comfort. If not, why not buy a real hedgehog....oh wait....that would be worse. In any case, some hate Shadow for a lot of stupid reasons, such as perceiving him as evil, just by his appearance and manner of speech. Shadow is NOT evil, nor is his 'emo'. Shadow isn't depressed about anything. If he were, he'd be having hissyfits all the time, but he is merely deep in thoughts. Despite his neutrality, he's been leaning towards the good guys now, since he serves as a an agent of G.U.N. (That's a good thing in the Sonic universe) Others keep saying he didn't deserve a game. Well, how else the hell were we supposed to actually know about his past when no one really knew a goddamn thing before. I mean, how else was Shadow created? He needed DNA to even come into existence yet, that is most important. Shadow was at first the most enigmatic character in the series, but now he's one of the most developed ones in the series. The fancharacter problem also tends to stem from this. Now we see a whole lot of people in the whole Chaos X thing, especially Chaos Control. Because Soinc can also use the power, fans think they can jump with their Chaos Control-holic characters and mess up the place, and don't even get me started on the Shadow-kun/Shadow-sama crap. Geez, he ain't anybody's god, and I think he could care less about love, and even so, he'd not hang out with any fans, especially when he is very close with Rouge and one of his other friends being a robot, does care about him, so there.
There is one more thing I'd like to point out: G.U.N. The Guardian Units of Nation are a military organization relying heavily on machinery. Here's two things that are a common bug: 1.) G.U.N. makes a lifeform 2.) G.U.N. is the enemy of fancharacters despite that they're good. In my opinion, I think people use G.U.N. just to look cool. G.U.N. is only looking out for the safety of Earth and its inhabitants. Both Rouge AND Shadow work for G.U.N. nowadays so what's the point of depicting G.U.N. as a zealous enemy when the fancharacter is usually good? >.<;
