Sonic X- Return of the Metarex

[Luke Fon Fabre]

Its 2 years after the adventures with Sonic and the rest. Ark was destroyed, Eggman is nowhere to be found ,and Sonic and his friends were finally was enjoying his life on his home planet. Though Sonic longed for another adventure, he figured it might be better for him and his friends because he simply didn't have to worry about them as much except probably for a certain pink hedgehog that still keeps following him and all.

Little did he know, the future was different to them.....A white colored hedgehog was thrown in jail by two sinister looking metallic robots. The two robots then shot lasers, from their arms, along the doorway of the enclosed cell saying to the hedgehog,

"You will die here on the order of our leader,". The lasers formed a red barrier on the doorway, blocking Silver's escape. Minutes after, he had regain consciousness and looked around the empty enclosed cell.

"Ugh....I knew I couldn't outrun them forever." Silver whispered getting up and surveying the prison cell. There were no airholes inside here and the only way out was blocked by a red barrier.

"They must've known I used psychokenesis to defeat some of the robots," Silver thought, going to the prison walls and touching it. He thought he should find a way out before he would die from the lack of oxygen in here. Luckily, he had brought a one-time-use time travelling device that Eggman Nega used to travel through time in his pocket. Reacting quickly, he took out the small remote like device and pressed the middle button.

"If there is something wrong now, there must be something wrong in the past. I need to find out what it is," Silver muttered as he disappeared in flash of light before the robots would notice he was gone.

Appearing 2 years time after he saw the blue hedgehog, largely responsible for adventures and protecting the worlds, he set off from the forest, dropping the powerless device and searching for him.

Meanwhile, back in the present, Sonic sat on a hill and looked up to the starry night sky, thinking of his adventures in the past. He didn't notice a familiar figure in the bushes behind him with blue eyes, scanning the blue hedgehog about something.

Aishiteru walked out of her front door. Something wasn't right, she just knew. "Better not jinx it, Aishi." she told herself. She walked along the street, hoping not to curse anyone by accident. Suddenly she saw a person she detested. "Hope she trips and dies." The girl tripped crossing the road and a bus comes along and kills her. Aishi laughed.

"Aishi... that's not funny." said Annie stepping out of the dark alleyway.
"What are you doing here? Isn't your step-brother gonna tell you off?"
"He doesn't know..."

Silver heard a bus screech from far away, trying to brake when he had heard it crushed something. Silver quickly figured he must be at the outskirts of the city and he started to break into a run towards the crash site.

"Was that the Metarex? I'd better hurry and find out before it's too late," Silver thought as he stopped at the site to see a girl in a bath of blood and no buses to be found.

"That must've been an accident....maybe I should help but then again, I need to find the blue hedgehog," Silver muttered as he walked away from the site. He would've used his psychokenesis to fly briefly in the air for a better look, but if there were any metarex around, he would get spotted easily.

Annie frowned, staring at the dead body on the road. Aishi gave her a sheepish smile.
"I was just tempted to do it... and I jinxed it."
"Aishi, you know you can curse people like that!"
"Well... I'm sorry Princ-"
"Don't say that in public please... someone might hear..."

Silver heard the two girls talking from a distance. He stopped all of a sudden and walked towards them, slightly angry that the girl cursed at the innocent girl but he let that slide for now as he crossed the road and approached them both.

"Um....excuse me. Have you both seen a blue hedgehog named Sonic around or any destructive robots lately?" Silver asked them as he heard sirens approaching, indicating the police were coming because of the incident of the dead girl.

"Sonic? Blue hedgehog? I'm sorry Mr. I don't quite understand..."
"Annie, you are too polite. I'm serious. Well, I guess that's how you royals associate with strangers."

Annie frowned, Aishi had just leaked about her. Her ears perked up as she heard sirens, she quickly, without thinking twice Annie transformed into a cat and hid in the bushes.

"Oh that's very nice of you Princess! Saving you own butt and not mine!" said Aishi, frowning.
Annie hissed and spat at her angrily.

Silver hesitated slightly, not sure if he should help them or just bolt out of the area. He figured out they were mostly innocent because the bus actually hit the girl and drove away. Then again, this was none of his business and he was busy trying to find someone.

"Well how about we hide behind the house first?" Silver suggested as he made a dash first behind the house and hid in the backyard.

Speciality: Super strength (able to lift 150 times his wait) and ability to manipulate water and shoot it from his hands

Looks: Well since I suck at drawing your gonna have to deal with imagination. Ace has been known to been to be extremely muscled but it is hidden by his attire only his abs is revealed which also exposes the chain and The Crucifix. His face is rather craggy and tough looking he has one slash scar on his left eye and a cross scar on his right cheek, his different colored eyes add on to his fierce glare which he walks around with. His attire is sort of simple after all because he is clad in a red overcoat, red baggy pants, and red shoes. His two 9 mm handguns are concealed inside his pockets and are always kept in them.

Annie followed Silver and Aishi, but she remained in her cat form. Aishi frowned at Annie.

"Annie, why are you staying in that form?" she whispered to Annie. Annie changed back into her normal form.
"You leaked out my secret and who knows... some people might be after me." whispered Annie back. Annie looked at Silver. "So... Mr. is there any particular reason you're looking for.... Sonic? Did I saw the name right?"

Aishi frowned as her necklace flashed. "Not another request!" she hissed quietly, still aware that the police are there. "How can I go to a request when I'll need to leave Annie here with that mortal?" thought Aishi. She frowned. Annie sensed Aishi's worry, she gave her a smile to show that she'll be alright. Aishi disappeared straight away.

"Mr. You don't seem like you're from this Earth... do you happen to possess any sort of power?" asked Annie, keeping her voice low.

"Well yeah I do and yes, I'm talking about the blue hedgehog named Sonic. We met one time when I was trying to get a futuristic camera back from Eggman Nega," Silver whispered back to Annie, wandering where Aishi went all of a sudden. Neverless, he stayed hidden at the back of the house as the police arrived at the site and had taken the dead corpse away.

"I guess I can trust him... I'm sure nothing will happen to me." Annie looked around. She noticed Silver's puzzled look. "Are you wondering where Aishi went? She's a vengeance demon. Her job is to take revenge, she's mainly based on earth." Annie shivered as she felt something dark arising. "I sense dark energy... but where?"

"Well er....she probably needs to worry about something else too....In the future, the Metarex and Metal Sonic rule the galaxy...," Silver replied back to Annie, feeling he could trust this girl. He then looked at her to see something was distracting her.

"Is something wrong?" Silver asked her whilst the police were investigating witnesses around the area, going towards various people around the accident site.

"I'm allergic... to dark energy... I can feel it near me..." said Annie, feeling nauseous and weak. Her legs started trembling as she tried to keep herself standing up. "The dark energy is getting closer... I don't know from where though... we have to get out of here before it comes too close..." Annie felt her legs giving in.

"Alright we'd better get out of here. We'll sneak past the police," Silver chimed ,taking one of her hands and walked towards a concrete pathway behind the house. He suspected it might be the metarex, since they could be unpredictable, but he worried about that later as he led Annie away from the house.

"thanks..." said Annie gratefully. She wondered where Aishi was. "I guess it's one of those long requests." She felt extremely grateful towards the white hedgehog. "I don't understand why I shouldn't go to Earth that often, Grandfather's always saying that it's dangerous."

Aishi appeared again, behind the house, she frowned at the sight of Silver taking Annie by the hand and leading her away. She felt disgusted. "That mortal's got a nerve to lay his hands on her... wait till he knows what class she is."

Silver walked past a park, along a footpath, past some houses and stopped near a shopping centre in town when he figured it the spot would be far and safe enough.

"How about this far? Are you feeling better now?" Silver looked towards her and asked her. He needed to get more answers of the whereabouts of Sonic and if they had spotted any metarex around since they were the most dominating and dangerous race in the future.

Annie smiled. "I feel much better now, thank you very much." Aishi appeared next to them. She frowned at Annie. "Why did you let that mortal touch you?" she whispered into Annie's ear. "Aishi... don't be so mean... he helped me." said Annie.

Annie looked around, she didn't know why, but she got this strange feeling that someone is watching her. She looked around just in case.

"Well you've got your own problems but I'm sorry I can't involved because I have to know-," Silver was then cut off by a echoing scream from inside the shopping mall. The next thing Silver heard was a sudden explosion as the shopping mall in front of him exploded into a smokey heap of ruins within seconds.

"What was that?!" Silver exclaimed, covering his ears briefly to block the sound from the explosion.

Annie jumped at the explosion. Aishi just stood there as if it were a normal day-to-day thing.

"I have no idea..."
"Annie, haven't you seen explosion before?"
"I didn't know that... they just happen like that... that explosion just killed innocent people!" said Annie, Annie was scared, it was noticable since she was trembling.

"Lots of explosions occurred in my time. I think I'll go see and what's it about," Silver told them as he ran off towards the explosion site. The smoke was clearing due to the wind as he approached. As he looked, he saw a humanoid robot emerge from the dust. The robot was designed with black armour and head and its size was about the same as Silver's.

"Heh heh......this armour will be perfect for our troops in ground combat," The robot sinisterly chuckled but was stopped when Silver called out to him.

"So it was your doing. Are you another one of Eggman's robot or are you from the Metarex?" Silver asked him slightly angrily as he had to make sure which of those it was.

Aishi frowned, she was clearly bored of the situation and wanted to go ruin more lives. Annie pulled Aishi back.
"Aishi, we have be careful."
"Well duh. Come on Annie, let's leave before it turns ugly."
"Aishi, we have to stay, just in case something happens to him!"
"Heh."

Annie was worried about Silver. She felt dark energy once again. "I knew something wasn't right..." thought Annie.

[Luke Fon Fabre]

"Don't be nosey hedgehog.......Regardless, you will soon......," the robot replied to him unveiling missile launchers on his arms, legs and chest. Silver was about to get ready for a fight as he quickly figured the robot wanted to destroy him and possibly other living citizens in the city too.

"Die!," The robot exclaimed as he let loose a barrage of rapid missiles towards Silver. Silver held up his hand to catch all of the missiles with his psychokenesis and send them all back to the robot. The missiles all exploded at the contact of the robot as he didn't even bother to dodge them. Smoke filled around the area where the missiles hit the robot but when it cleared, nothing remained in its spot, not even the remains of destroyed robot parts. Silver quickly figured he must've hid somewhere during the smoke as he looked around the area, trying to find where the robot was now.

Annie could hear her heart beating, she was afraid. Afraid that something bad will happen to that kind hedgehog that just helped her. She peered over at the scene. "I knew he had some sort of power." thought Annie. Aishi pulled Annie back.

"Are you crazy?" said Aishi. Aishi tried to keep the volume down. She just couldn't believe that as the Princess of a completely different planet, she was careless, to just show herself like that. "Annie, you gotta understand that people come easy and they go easy! You can't just spend all of your life getting yourself into trouble! You're gonna get captured by whatever the are, if you're not careful!"

Silver looked around but the robot was nowhere to be found. The smoke still obscured his vision a bit as he searched around. He looked back to both Annie and Aishi to see the robot directly behind them when the smoke cleared.

"Hey you both! Watch -!" Silver exclaimed to them but before he could finish, the robot grabbed Annie and held her strongly around her chest in his arm.

"It's a pity you living creatures make great shields," the robot sneered.

Annie struggled, the robot was obviously hurting her. Annie started feeling weak and nauseas as the robot held her. Aishi hissed angrily.

"Leave her alone you tin can!"
"Aishi! Don't... come... close..." said Annie weakly.
"It's not like that's gonna help if I just stand there and watch you die Annie!"
"Destructa." said Annie quietly. The robot's arm exploded. Aishi frowned as she jumped up and caught Annie. "Annie... you've never used that spell before."
"I had to... I can't put anyone else in danger."

Aishi landed on the ground and set Annie aside. "Okay tin-can, prepare to die. If you didn't already!" hissed Aishi.

"Ah....very good but you've all been living in the past for too long," the robot sneered as the arm slowly grew back in its place. Inside the robot, various circuits went towards the broken arm and repaired it in an instant.

"Grrr....this robot's almost immune to almost every attack we throw at it," Silver growled as he used his psychokenesis to throw a broken car towards the robot. It had no effect as the robot was merely bounced back a few meters from the car's impact.

"My armour is impenetrable. You can't possibly defeat me," the robot glared at the group as he started to take flight in the sky with his jet boosters on his feet.

"Hey! Don't you dare run away you coward!" hissed Aishi angrily as she flew up into the sky.

Annie coughed and shivered. She was still feeling nauseas from the grip of the robot, she coughed again. "I hope I'll recover before something else comes and attacks me again..." thought Annie scared that something else bad will happen to her.

"You persistant pests," the robot muttered, although he had no intention of running away because he probably couldn't outspeed them with all the armour he was wearing, but then again, none of their attacks affect him and he could continue to attack anyone or anything.

Drawing some of his psychokenesis, Silver flew up in the air as well. Though it wouldn't last long, hopefully, he could defeat this robot and gather some answers before he would grow tired. The robot begun to go on the offensive as he switch his arm from missile to laser mode and fired a series of searing lasers towards Silver and Aishi. Luckily, Silver was focusing on what the robot was doing so he wouldn't be tricked in using his psychokenesis again. He swerved to the side to avoid the sweeping laser narrowly, although it followed him.

Ace is cluttered in teared street clothes. Day by day he's endured the hardships of streets. The only thing that keeps his food in his mouth is underground boxing matches. His muscular stature his hidden. He walks down the street after a match he lost and his anger and fustration has increased to the limit.

He notices something amiss and sees a robot and 3 hedgehogs fighting. At first he feels to back away. Then again I do need to practice... He thinks to himself then jumps in. Ace jumps into the fight and lays a devasting punch on the machine.

"OW! What are you made of? Cotton." Ace sarcastically smiles.

Apperance: She's around average height, has long quills that go straight down and reach her chest. Her fur is clear green, her quills, except the two in the front, are yellow though. She has orange/yellow coloured eyes and her left arm, both her legs from mid thigh down, part of her right arm, the left side of her head and parts of her torso are cyborgnetic.
Powers: She controls the elements.
Talents: She's a tech wiz.
Weapons: Her elemental powers and two handguns, which are made by her.

Sitting on the top of a old shrine ruin is a male echidna with clear purple eyes gazing up at the sky. His long dreads that reaches his chest are slightly billowing in the wind as he has a peaceful expression on his face...Not many saw him like this, at peace and calm...

A streak of dust is blown up as a figure of clear blue swishes past, he feels the wind flow through his quills as he grins happily. Running was his thing and he loved it. He glances around the desert area that he was running, not helping but wondering where his friends were currently doing...

"Hey be careful! I don't think anything physical works on him!" Silver exclaimed to Ace who had just punched the mysterious dark armored robot.

"You are right you pathetic living creatures," the robots' eyes started to glow red as its head quickly spun around, firing lasers to the ground which erupted into a high column of fire engulfing Ace and himself. Apparently, the robot's armor was heatproof as well as it did not seem to affect him.

Meanwhile, on top of the city in the same town, a dark hedgehog stood at the skyscraper examining a large hologram TV in the city projecting about the news. He didn't want any company as the news explained about one girl brutally crushed by a vehicle. He didn't care about that and was about to walk away, figuring it was going to be another ordinary day until, a news popped up about an explosion at a shopping center, detailing about the location and when it occured. It also mentioned some people fighting there but the camera operators couldn't get close because they disappeared immediately after getting close to the site..

"Hmph....guess its time to investigate if this stupid incident is the doctor's work again," Shadow muttered as he begun to take off towards the explosion site, hopping across the buildings.

Aishi frowned. "Why are there so many mortals helping?"
"Aishi, don't be mean!" said Annie, still coughing and shivering from the dark energy. She wished that Aishi and Hexy would just understand, that mortals aren't bad at all. She didn't mind being around them.

Aishi noticed another pedestrian walking innocently on the now chaotic street. "heh... it's not like anyones gonna live through this... crash and burn..." thought Aishi, eying the pedestrian. Suddenly a car crashed right into the pedestrian and caught on fire. Aishi giggled evilly. Annie slapped Aishi. She saw what Aishi did. A look of worry surfaced Aishi. "Oh crap... Annie saw that..."

The blue hedgehog sees a city up a head and his grin widens as he enters the city streets, though coming to a screeching hault in front of a TV screen, seeing the news of the attack in the shoping mall.
"Sure sounds like Eggman's kind of trouble!" he thinks before he turns and runs down the street, headed towards the battle scen.

"It gotta have a weakpoint!" comes a female voice as a light green hedgehog woman with yellow quills comes running and she holds out her hands, a focused look on her face as the column of fire ever so slowly starts getting pushed to the ground. It took a lot of concentration to keep the fire in line and she was only slowly doing so, but it'd probably not take more then one hit to break her concentration.

"Ow! What are talking I left a dent in it." Ace clutches his hand and jumps up and down in pain. "Owowowowow!"

A column of fire erupts from the ground from where he and the robot are standing. "Son of a bitch!" He acts quickly and launches a pool of water that douses the fire before it severely burns him.

"Son of bitch man......You ain't no ordinary robot. What do I do now?" He cries to the silver hedgehog.

Appearence: ( I have put her true form up so no point looking to the character profile of Valkyre) She stands 1.65m tall and is jet black with crimson highlights on her ears, hair, twin tails and fight feathers on her wings. She has gold burn marks on the left side of her face and left wing. Valkyre wears an armoured crimson and black body suit, similar to Rouge's. Her wingspan is 18 feet.
Powers: Black Fire (fire but coloured black)
Weapon: small dagger, twin ray guns.

Valkyre watched the scene below her from on top of a nearby building. She didn't worry about being noticed, but now she knew the robot could be destroyed by any "normal" attack.
She let herself fall down and snapped her wing open to stop herself doing a face plant on the ground.
"Hay Robot, maybe you should pick on someone your own size," Valkyre landed gentely behind it.

(Alrighty you can be Amy and Rouge too Black Knight. Guess I'll also fill in Tails and Cream as my last characters since the enemies appear briefly and if I do miss anyone's characters, just let me know.)

Shadow didn't know Sonic was following him yet as he was miles ahead of him after the news was broadcasted.

"Hm....I find it strange that nothing can get close to this 'fight'. Anyway, this is going to be indeed an interesting fight for a long time," Shadow muttered as he had reached the site, seeing a bunch of people surrounding one metallic robot from afar.

"Well looks like a definitely worthy fight if the scrap metal can last this long," Shadow grinned as he sped closer to the site.

"We all outnumber him and he still is standing. We have to figure a way to break the armor but how? Every physical attacks seems useless and it can regenerate itself," Silver mentioned to the others as he tried to come up with something.

The robot looked and scanned around quickly on each of his enemies. Surely, he was outnumbered and he may think he couldn't withstand all of their attacks if they constantly pressure on his tough armor. To even the odds, his eyes started to flash yellow and his head projected invisible soundwaves to call upon nearby of his allied metarex to come and help him deal with these pathetic creatures. However just before the sounds could travel too far, the robot was hit on the head by an unexpected Shadow, using a drilling homing attack on his head which pushed him back a bit and delayed his communication.

"Huh? Shadow what are you doing here?" Silver asked him when Shadow landed on top of a nearby ruin. Shadow glared at the robot and didn't reply to him as he wanted to figure out if this robot was from the doctor first since a robot hadn't been attacking for quite some time.

[Black Knight]

Sonic arrive short after Shadow, looking at the robot.
"Could be another attack by Robotnik..." he thinks then looks at Shadow. "Oi! Shadow! Any clues on if it's Robotnik behind this yet?" he asks

The light green hedgehog woman lowers her hands as the fire disappeared and looks at the robot as she glares cooly at it. Her robotic limbs were currently impossible to see as all of them were covered with fake fur.

Annie continued to shudder since the robot was quite near her, she could feel her limbs starting to give in, she found it difficult to even sit up. "If it goes on like this... I will turn evil... and... this place will be over... I can't afford for that to happen." An idea suddenly hit her. She closed her eyes and concentrated. Her eyes started glowing red and her clothing changed to a black bikini with gold around the edges. "Phew... that's better."

Aishi looked at Annie. "Summoning Serenade to be your body and still keeping your personality and mind? smart!" Aishi smirked, now that Annie was okay, she could at least relax a bit. "So... it seems like there's more mortals... and I thought dealing with them in business was already bad..."

[Kursed]

Valkyre glared at the black hedgehog, but still kepted a close watch on the robot. She lept at the moment of confusion and sent a powerful roundhouse kick into his body. She took flight and hovered a few feet of the ground.
"No chance contacting your buddies, robot!" Valkyre yelled after slaming the robot back with her Fire Blast. "Not while I'm around with my Black Fire."

"You've read my plan....," the robot sneered as the fire from Valkyre had no effect on his armour meaning he was resistant to fire and physical attacks. However, he didn't want to waste anymore time as he was getting nowhere being in just his defense form, just to destroy the shopping centre and then contact the rest of the metarex relocating this planet again.

"Hey there's Sonic too! Those two were the ones that helped me stop Eggman Nega from using the camera to capture it in a card," Silver looked towards Sonic and Shadow for a minute and landed next to him to save up psychonesis power.

"In regards to your question, no but I predict this scrap metal will be defeated in just a few.....wait! He's heading towards us!," Shadow exclaimed, referring to Sonic and then seeing the robot dive bombing towards them at a fast pace with its boosters, surrounded by a heat aura.

[Black Knight]

Sonic grinned at Silver and gave him a thumb up when he saw him "Hey!" he said when he heard Shadow shout and looked at the Robot coming at them.
"Woah!" exclaimed and jumped to his right, knowing that Shadow was fast enough by far to get himself out of the way too...

Tete slammed her palms together and then directed them at the Robot.
"If fire doesn't work!" she said and sent a beam of water at the robot, hoping to stop it from hitting Sonic or Shadow and to cool it down.

Ace realizes that Tete is attacking the robot with water. Hmmm....Water's my specialty too...Ace thinks too himself.

"Hang on I'll help!" Ace quickly summons all his might and blasts water at the robot. "This time I'm gonna send you right back to the scrap heap!"

Valkyre froze as the robot shook off the fire. Crap, That didn't work and that was my most powerfulest move.
She watched the robot carefully, and withdrew her ray gun. Valkyre shot a couble of warning shots to the air. Keep your attention on me, robot.

Shadow and Silver easily avoided the diving robot, as Shadow ran aside and Silver floated upwards with his psychonesis again. As he passed Sonic, Shadow and Silver, the water attacks that had been launched hit him square on, negating his attack and causing him to go off balance, hitting the floor and rendered defenseless as his armor started fizzing with electricity.

"I would've figured that out," Shadow cooly replied as he used the opportunity to jump up in the air and fired 4 chaos spears towards the robot, damaging it even further.

"Now's my chance," Silver thought as he quickly grabbed the broken car he had thrown to the robot earlier with his psychonesis. He quickly aimed and fired it at the short circuiting, damaged robot, scoring a direct hit.

"Rgggh!!!!"the robot yelled in pain after everyone had found out the armour's weakness. He was expecting the reinforcements to come since his sound waves earlier projected far enough to contact some robots around the town. Besides, he was just a lesser robot from the Metarex.

[Kursed]

Valkyre raised her ray guns and fired at the robot, the lasers shape themselve into a net that wrapped themselves around the robot, rending him paralyzed.
"He's all yours, hedgehogs, " Valkyre said to the the others before leeping to the air and beating her wings. She hovered for a moment.

Annie looked up in the air. She so Valkyre. "I remember her!" she thought to herself. "Valkyre!" shouted Annie. Aishi looked at Annie. "You know her?"

Annie nodded. "Oh.. I forgot to tell you, Hexy's still got your sword!" Aishi hissed angrily. "She's gonna be dead by the end of the punishment!"
"Aishi... focus..."
"whoops. Sorry Princess."

"Good job!" Sonic yells, flashing a grin to Tete, Ace and Valkyre. He then curls into a ball and spins to increase his speed and force, soon letting go and like a spinball he shots straight into the fallen robots head, smashing it to pieces.

Ace smirks in amazement as he lets himself relax. He takes out a cigarette lights and smokes it. Then throws the cigarette quickly away. "Damn...What the hell did I get myself into? What the hell was that piece of shit anyway?"

[Luke Fon Fabre]

The robot was shattered to pieces. unable to regenerate or move as Sonic's final blow finished it. Silver walked over to the robot to search for any distinct traits of the robot belonging to whom. After a short while of searching, he just shook his head slightly indicating he couldn't find any indication of whom the robot was made or belonged to.

"Hmph....well if that's the case, ask your little so called genius fox friend to see if he can find anything from those parts," Shadow suggested to Sonic after seeing that Silver couldn't find anything.

(Guess that means I'll be Tails to continue on the story.)

Sonic glances at Shadow and nods "Yeah, I'm sure Tails would be able to find something..." he says with a thoughtful look and then looks at Silver.
"Long time no see..." he grins

Tete walks over to the robot and kneels down beside him. "Don't know if thats necessary..." she says as she gets a couple of tools out of a backpack she had with her, trying to find anykind of clues on it's orgin.

Ace walks over to the pulverized remains of the robot and starts to play with some of its broken pieces. "Heh, wonder what this doohickey does. Here catch!"

He throws the piece over Tete. "Exactly how good are you at this stuff anyways."

[AnnZie]

"Okay, that thing is defeated. CAN WE GO NOW?!"
"Aishi... quit whining. I guess we should go, since there's no real use for us to be here." said Annie, changing back to normal. She slowly stood up and started walking away. Aishi followed her, she was rather happy since she didn't need to help the mortals anymore.

Tete turns around to catch the robot part and smiles "Good enough!" she replies and throws the piece back to him, turning to continue working on getting clues from the robot...

"Yeah thank you both for helping me catch Eggman Nega for the camera he stole from the future. But I'd have to tell you that the future now faces another problem....." Silver replied to both Sonic and Shadow while Tete got off to work on scanning the robot parts.

"It was a wasted effort in the end by him but maybe that doctor is planning something again or Eggman in this time?" Shadow asked Silver, scanning the ruins of the shopping center afterwards.

Sonic raises an eyebrow at Silver's statement "New threat? What kind of threat? Eggman Nega up to no good again or something?" he asks with a quizitive look on his face.

Tete keeps looking through the parts "Is there anything special that I'm looking for?" she asks anyone that was ready to answer.

[Luke Fon Fabre]

Silver eyed Tete when she asked what she was trying to find replying to her, "Yeah. Just try and figure if it's Eggman or Eggman Nega's robot. Maybe you can find the part where the broken robot stores the memory."

"At any rate, I feel uneasy that this robot may possibly be a bait to distract us while the main threat maybe elsewhere," Shadow warned everyone, glaring at the parts of the robot.

[Black Knight]

"Memory, eh?" Tete says and gets working in a furious, yet not careless, pace, soon being at the core of the robot...

Sonic looks at the robots parts then at Shadow and nods
"It could be....but we would most likely heard of it by now or will hear of it soon..." He says, looking thoughtful.

[AnnZie]

"Aishi... wait." said Annie, sensing an uncomfortable presence. She shivered. Something wasn't right, maybe it was just her since she was still recovering from the darkness attack.
"What?! We have to stay?!" Aishi frowned, she would much prefer to go back home than face another adventure. One, she had to retrieve her sword, two, she didn't feel the need to help these mortals. She actually didn't care if the world plummeted down the universe.

"Well do you see anything suspicious?" Silver asked Tete thinking that the core of the robot must have something. He wasn't particularly smart at mechanics but he had a good feeling that the core would tell him if he went to the right time period or not.

Police sirens were heard closing in on the ruins of the shopping centre. "Well there they come. Maybe we should...," Shadow was suddenly cut off when he saw several helicopters flying above them and a troop from the G.U.N. shouted from above, "Halt! All of you! You are all under arrest for causing harvoc everywhere. Turn in and surrender immediately!"

"So this is how they repay me? I'm guessing the 'distraction' already occured," Shadow muttered but still wandered why the G.U.N. was accusing them again and so soon without further investigation. Surely, they should know by now that he and Sonic weren't criminals.

"Damn I got the popos all over my ass man today..." Ace groans again. "I know I'm sounding like bitch. But I'm already in trouble as it is man. Crap!" SteelFists says and gets into a boxing stance. His muscles are tensing and a bead of sweat runs down his cheek.

[Black Knight]

Tete moves away from the robot, pulling the core gently out of it. "I have it..." she says softly and then looks at G.U.N.
"That's strange..." she says with a surprised look on her face.

"What?! Not again!" Sonic exclaims and sighs in frustration "Why do they think it's our fault this time?" he wonders out loud, knowing very well that no one could answer it.

"Oh well if I get arrested at least I could go to jail or die having one of the greatest ass-kicking parties of my life!" Ace's pulse grows and his mood lightens up at the thought. "I can't take it anymore!"

The fight-hungry ferret punches and knocks out one of the G.U.N. soldiers. And the entire fray enters into a fighting frenzy. Steel howls into the air. "Its ok if you guys hate me for this, I understand."

Tanks and various robots started arriving in the area as Silver looked around to see they were all surrounded. He wandered why the incident was so sudden and why they were under arrest without anyone asking.

"We have to break through this siege and find the commander about this. There's no way they will attack all of a sudden," Shadow said to the group. He could easily use Chaos Control to escape from this mess but since the chaos emeralds were kept at Angel Island where Knuckles was, he had to do it the hard way. Silver caught some stray missiles fired towards them from the helicopters overhead and threw them back towards the helicopters with his psychonesis. Meanwhile, Shadow rolled into his ball form and deflected various shots from the guns the G.U.N. soldiers fired before directly attacking them sending them unconscious. He was trying to clear a path for the group to escape, knowing they can't fight all of the G.U.N..

Annie frowned. "Well I definitely won't be able to come back, if Grandfather found out that I was arrested...."

Aishi hissed. "WOW! SO MUCH FOR PROTECTING THESE FUTILE MORTALS! Annie, if you don't agree with my theories, that's fine. But no way Am I getting arrested or even touched by these things!" Aishi hissed once again, she shouted up at the helicopters "You stupid mortals! I wish you could just get burnt down to ashes!"

Annie gasped in horror. She knew what Aishi was capable of, since she IS the Dark Lord's favourite... and being a vengeance demon, she was one powerful one. Aishi had always been a great fighter. Also violent. Annie felt helpless about not being able to stop Aishi's curses. She watched as a few groups of soldiers burst into flames. "A...Aishi! Calm down, it's no use getting so angry over stuff like this!" said Annie as she heard Aishi snicker evilly.

Sonic rolls into a ball and spins to defelect some bullets before he shots off, ramming into the guts of a couple of G.U.N soldiers, sending them flying backwards in coughing fits as he helps Shadow clear a path...

Tete slaps her palms together and then directs them at the arear where Shadow was trying to clear a path.
"OUT OF THE WAY!!" she yells as a burst of wind suddenly makes the soldiers fly in different directions, landing a little here and there.
"Get a move on!" she says as she starts running...

Ace continues to fight. With his immense power and juggernaut like stamina the soldiers stand no chance. Then he notices that everyone is starting to leave as Tete perform a technique he has never seen before. Damn I gotta learn. No wait forget that boxing is my style!

"Get a move on!" Tete yells. Yeah easy for you to say when you got everyone shooting at your ass with bullets and ain't slow as a turtle. Crap how the hell am I supposed to get myself out of this one!

Ace makes a last ditch effort to get soldiers off him by grappling one of them and throwing it against the other armed men. The force is strong enough to send a portion of the army fall like pins in a bowling alley. "Steeeeeeeerike! Oh man! Hey wait up!"

The ferret tries his best to keep up.

[Luke Fon Fabre]

Behind the soldiers were a combination of a well constructed formation of ground and flying robots. When the accused culprits broke through the soldiers, the soldiers suddenly unlaunched a barrage of missiles towards the group.

Silver couldn't possibly catch all of the rain of missiles but with the assistance of the others, he caught 20 missiles whilst Shadow was still in ball form, exploding many of the missiles in the air as he contacted them. As Silver threw the 20 missiles back towards the ground robots, he thought about something in the future for a brief moment about the metarex. He suspected maybe they had something to do with this but before he could becoem too caught up in deep thoughts, he focused on the situation at hand to escape and find the G.U.N. commander.

Sonic jumps up and pinballs between a couple of missiles, sending them flying towards the G.U.N soldiers instead.

Tete holds out her hand towards the missiles and they suddenly stop in mid air before she makes a throwing motion towards the robots, sending the missiles she had caught right back at them.

Silver suddenly started to remember from the future and suddenly turned to Sonic and the group, who were finished their attacks to the robots.

"Do you both know where the chaos emeralds are?" Silver asked them all as Shadow stopped by him to briefly reply,

"At the Angel Island where that angry red echidna is," Shadow then leapt into the air to fire chaos spears towards a ground robot's leg to disable it from moving before finishing it off.

"Well we need to find a way to get there then," Silver replied back to Shadow raising his hand and grabbing a leg of a broken robot part and threw it back towards the other robots. But the swarm was seemed endless. They had to get through this area soon before the group all get tired.

"What the hell is a chaos emerald?"Ace wonders as he dodges a well-aimed missile. "Shit that was close!"

An idea pops up in to his head. With all the craziness going on, he runs over to Sonic and lifts him up. Damn its so crazy of course it will work! Plus I always wanted to do something like this! "Hey listen I gots an idea! When I throw your gonna be flying at high speed. Stay in that ball form you got there."

He grunts and launches the blue blur with most of his strength before he can question the situation. He gazes over at Tete who is a little further ahead of him and the speeding hedgehog and yells "When he gets over there make him go faster!"

[Black Knight]

"ALRIGHT!" Sonic yells in reply and then gets thrown

"COPY THAT!" Tete answers and aims her palms towards Sonic, his speed suddenly increasing immensly as he slams into the robots, sending them flying all over the place, starting to clear a path.

[Luke Fon Fabre]

As Sonic was clearing a path, Silver caught more missiles and threw them all behind the group to blow up a large section of the road so that the ground troops and robots had trouble following the group. Afterwards, he ran along the path that Sonic cleared through before the smoke cleared from the missile explosion. Shadow followed not too far behind also using the smoke and the destroyed road to escape. Up ahead, the group bolted towards the forest where Silver had originally appeared from in this time.

Valkyre hovered for a moment watching the group, suddenly two helicopters came screaming at her. She zipped up in time for the two to colide underneigh her. She guilded over to the forest, to her it was blue because she could see colour like the others only blue and purple. She landed on a branch.
