this dog is always waking me up with its loud barking, but a cat keeps coming to our yard to do some business, I can say either or neither I guess

I have a dog: a bassett hound called Tanglette and a kitten: a siamese cross called Katt. So i guess i like both. Tanglette is alway chasing Katt though, and that is annoying.
