With under 100 days till the films release - on August 14, 2008, Warner Brothers in a press release announced that they decided to switch the release date to next year. The release date has been rescheduled from November 21, 2008, to July 17th, 2009.

This sucks. Most of us were looking forward to it in November, and now we have to wait for it until next summer.

The quality of the movies is pretty bad.
The 5th movie was a huge disappointment for me, the drama of Sirius' death lasted for about 2 seconds.

I don't have high hopes for the movie, none the less, sad to hear about the release date being pushed forward so far.

I'm only excited for the movie because i've read the book and i'm curious on how different it may possibly be. Because as most people know movies dont go completely by the book or not at all by the book:cough:Eragon:cough:

Warner Bros. stated that since Dark Knight was so succeessful releasing the movie at this date then why not Harry Potter...obviously they don't realize is that Dark Knight was actuallly *gasp* a great movie! I would Alfonso Cuaron back he did the third movie good!

I'm not exactly sure if all of you are aware of this as I am... but, I was reading the news the other day, and they have actually changed it back to the original date. Hoorah.
