I didn't think they were close to ending. But... God, finally.
Personally I hated the Simpsons. They were just so obnoxious and annoying to me.

Never. The Simpsons is a great show. By the way, almost every Family Guy joke was stolen from the Simpsons.

I agree with Sonikku, and I love The Simpsons, but I have to say that the quality of the series has dwindled in the last 5 years. In fact, I don't much care for the new episodes because they always kill a good joke.
