In my opinion, the 90's had a great calibur of bands, songs, and albums. There was Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, Beck, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind, Phish, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden... Hip hop in those days was really good too, with Bone Thugs n Harmony, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dog, and Biggy. Cast your thoughts if you like 90's music, or if you don't like the music back then.

I agree with fully you on that.
Rap these days is... crap.
90's rap is the type of music I will always listen too, until this era of rap gets that old school feel.
I hate it how "New School rap" raps about money, gangs, mansions, and most of all... Women.
It pisses me off.

Ah, I grew up with the 90s. Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Big L, oh the good times. Back then it was just about expressing yourself. All I see now is just a race to get the number 1 billboard spot. Me and my friends would just sit there on the sidewalk on weekends singing the Fresh Prince or Family Matters theme. It's safe to say that the 90s were the golden age of music.

Those are the main rap legends.
Don't forget HAWK, Eazy-e, Lil Troy, and Phat Pat(or is it Fat pat?)

In my opinion, all of the genres out there were better in the 90's. (Even Pop), but especially rock, rap, R&B, alternative...

My favorite part of the 90's is when Reel Big Fish (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBNy3l3Me5o) formed.

Plus, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Pantera, KISS, Sound Garden, and whatever other good 90's bands that I can't remember right now.

My favorite part about the 90's was Black Metal. >:3

Nothing is mightier. I cannot name these bands for they'll become bastardized by the mainstream, but google it >;3

Michael Jackson was pretty popular during the 90's too until that whole "incident" at Neverland
