Some pretty nice work there, what program are you using? 3dMax? I also assume you've made use of the new CS3x texture import feature, as you say in your DeviantArt note. I haven't had time to test it out myself yet so I was wondering how it compared to standard UV mapping. =]

I did use a grain filter, but I still didn't like the look of the battleship textures so I painted over the whole thing with a tablet.
