Omigizzles! Sparky's back!!!
(Well, not really. With a senior year, marital plans, and part-time job ripping at my soul, who knows how much longer I’ll be around)
Anyway...
I've got music requests, but probably not like the kind you're thinking of. You see, I'm kind of getting tired of the music I listen to day to day, and honestly I’m getting too lazy to go around exploring with various metal/punk/alternative artists. So that’s where you guys come in.
I’ve got a craving for really “hard” guitar playing, aka metal or hard rock, as some of you may call it. Green Day is just unacceptable, My Chemical Romance is kinda soft (but still acceptable), and I’m getting tired of listening to Evanescence day and night.
Can you guys please post here (your favorite?) Metal and Hard Rock songs? Alternative or Punk is also appreciated. Your “hardest” and most favorite My Chemical Romance songs are great, but please no Green Day! I’ve already got all of the albums of Evanescence in my head, so just don’t bother please. Guns n’ Roses are also great.

System of a Down, Sum 41 maybe. First one makes you laugh, second one is just alright music.

Oh, em, gee
You want my entire fucking library of music?
Then again, my definition of "hard" may be a little stronger than yours, let's start off easy...
---------------------------------
Easy Listening, while still "hard":
===
HIM (His Infernal Majesty)
Three Days Grace
Breaking Benjamin
Within Temptation (Love this band, apparently they're among the more popular bands here)
Nightwish (Eh, the original singer was better, but no matter, if finding a song from them, try Planet Hell first)
DragonForce.
MCR (You already knew this)
Charon (IF you have ANY hope of finding their songs that is...)
___________________
Harder Bands
=============
Cradle of Filth (Their songs are a little... weird, but whatever.)
In Flames (Can't go wrong here)
Children of Bodom (If you don't mind a guy with a high-pitched voice doing screamo)
Arch Enemy (Female screamo, sounds like a man -_-)
___________________
And here comes heavy shit with screamo.
===================
Carcass (Pretty good, I don't like alot of their songs though :l)
Lamb Of God (I love this band, but that's just me)
Cannibal Corpse (Only listen to them if you are insane, their songs are screwed up)
[Slayer goes somewhere between "Harder" And "Screamo Hard" I'm just not sure where]
[I'm not going to bother classifying Marilyn Manson, he has his own classification]

Thanks so much for your post. You've given me a wide variety of things to choose from. I particularly liked In Flames.
Cannibal Corpse made me laugh, seriously. They sound like piggies!! =D
No offence, hehe. I'm sure they're a great band for someone who likes that kind of music.
Arch Enemy - I definitely agree it sounds like a man. A demented man with mutant vocal-chords, but nevertheless a man. I never would have guessed it was a woman if you hadn't said that.
I wouldn't really put Marilyn Manson in this range of music, but I'm probably wrong, since I've only heard tidbits of two songs by him.

If you like In Flames, you should try - At the Gates.
Fantastic band who pretty much started the whole trend which In Flames used to follow.

Try Disturbed, Motley Crue, Avenged Sevenfold, or Ozzy.

I agree with Sonikku, Disturbed, Motley Crue, A7X, or Ozzy is where you need to go.
