This is an rp loosely based on th video game Streets of Rage 2. However, the main hero characters are not involved and the story will differ to the main game. Thus, no knowledge of the game is required to participate though if you have played it, youll hopefully enjoy the references in this rp if it gets going and the tribute in itself that this rp is to a fantastic game!
And now to set the scene...
It is the year 2052A.D., one year earlier the city had been one plagued with violence and crime. This turned out to be the work of a Syndicate, vicious and ruthless, they gained control of the city and through a mixture of bribery, blackmail and force they soon had everyone in their pocket. However, three young police officers quit the corrupt force and with the help of a couple of friends the three vigilantes set out. Their names were Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding and Adam Hunter.
It was a batle of incredibly difficulty, but finally the three vigilates found the stronghold of the Syndicate leader, the evil and myserious Mr.X, and defeated him. Peace returned to the city...
However, crime has once again taken hold of this peaceful city. A file arrived at the police station today, enclosed were the following photos...
Adam Hunter in chains lying at the polished, black boots of a tall man in a green suit...
Axel Stone lying dead in an alley, blood pouring from a smashed head...
Blaze Fielding strung up by her neck on a street corner, naked and slash marks all over her body...
Some members of the force, clearly horrified, tried to get hold of Max Hatchett, a friend of Axel's and Adam's kid brother Eddie 'Skate' Hunter, but there has been no response, the worst is feared...At the same time, thugs have poured onto the streets again, bikers terrorise people at night, the city is a hellhole of crime and violence once again...
The message this time is clear, Mr.X has returned stronger than ever and is taking no risks this time! He has dealt with any potential threats and his crime empire is back in force stronger than ever, or so he thinks!
The streets can still be save,d but this time its up to you, do you have what it takes to walk the Streets of Rage?!

Appearance: Pale skin and shoulder length black hair in a ponytail, he has a muscular body and sky blue eyes. He wears a white T-shirt and dark blue denim jeans with black shoes.
Fighting Style: Mix of boxing and grappling
Brief Bio: A former member of the police force, Elric has always respected Axel who was his mentor. At the news of Axel's death Elric refused to be the same as the other 'cowards' of the police force and give in to the Syndicate, he plans to pick up the pieces and hit the Syndicate where it hurts!

Your bio should look just like that though with obviously your owjn details, dont ask to join, anyone up for it can join. You should ideally start in the same Street area as Elric, if you feel you have a better idea for a starting point then go ahead, and yes you can have a character working for the Syndicate if you wish. However, I will control all original Syndicate characters. And now, the first post!

Elric looked down at his right arm, noting the light slash mark that ran down along his forearm. This inevitably led him to look down at the fellow who now lay dead on the floor, his head bent at an impossible angle. A man with distincitive red hair and dressed in blue denims, a member of the Galsia posse, one of many 'units' that worked for the Syndicate. The Galsia had pulled a knife at the last moment, the first man Elric had killed since joining the force...
"Well..." He laughed to himself bitterly. "Im not part of that force anymore..."
Elric clenched his fist, this was far from a serious wound and he would suffer many more in the struggle to come. Somewhere out there that bastard Mr.X was hidden away, Elric would find him and destroy him in Axel's place...
Alone if need be...
