Everything was dark, pitch black around him. Nothingness. Nothing existed then, and nothing now, complete and utter darkness, a void. This was what had befallen him after that day...Then, suddenly, a single beam of light. The light slowly grew larger and larger, his vision slowly clearing from the blur of being in the darkness for so long. He rubs his eyes, then suddenly realizes...he had a physical form.
"What...but, how?!"
Another discovery, a voice. It was the same as his...only deeper, darker. He looked around himself. He was outside, the sun shining down upon his face. How? How could this be possible? He wasn't real, merely a shadow of the one he was meant to defeat, just a shadow...wasn't he? It would seem that it was not so. He found himself on a small island in the middle of Lake Hylia. He stands up, making his way over to the water, leaning down close. He saw it, his reflection. It was him! No...it was different. His skin was darker, his hair was white as a ghost, and his eyes, red. Upon a closer look, he found himself wearing a black tunic, a sword and shield on his back. He was...alive...but how? He would have to find the answer to this question himself, amung other things. Time seemed to have passed since his original creation. There were new structures around the lake, the Zora had opened trade with the hylian kingdom it seems.

"I have to find him...I have to know what...no, why I am..."
~MEANWHILE~
Inside Hyrule castle, Princess Zelda was seated upon her throne. It had been 10 years since the incident with Ganon. Link had defeated him, as it was forseen by the Sages, who were able to return to the physical realm where they were needed. A meeting room was added to the temple of time, where only the sages and the Hero of Time could enter. After the fighting was done and Ganon's forces had been driven out of Hyrule, Link had settled down from being a great Hero. He had become much stronger and wiser than he once was. the princess had named him Ambasidor of Hyrule. With this title, he helped to make strong relations with the other parts of hyrule, forming a strong union of the land. The sages from each area became the representative of their people and the land prospered. Link was even able to find a rout to Termina, thanks to the skullkid, and Hyrule's reach became even further.
Though, lately, Zelda and Link had both been having strange dreams. Visions of oncoming darkness from a familiar source, a single dark figure holding the triforce of power upon his right hand. Ganon was returning...they didn't know how, or why, but they feared the worst. They would have to alert the sages immediatly to find a solution. The sages were gathering in the meeting chamber, Zelda coming in last, followed by Link himself. He was wearing more armor now, though his original look still remained.
