Ok guys, lets summarize the situation. What we have so far is an epic set of screenshots and a fantastic trailer. Same has happened with every preceeding console STH game. And they've all been SHIT.

Please, don't jump on the fanboy band wagon, just wait for a proper announcement at a conference, or even its release and a professional review. THEN decide how you will react. Right now I'm showing no fuckin interest whatsoever because right now, it seems it's just gonna turn out like every other game they've made in the past few years.

From what I've heard:

Only the old skool triad (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) are going to be playable.

This "Werehog" is a transformed Sonic. Probably something Robotnik does to him after he neutralizes the powers of his Super Form (Super Sonic without the aura) and traps him. He'll fight with rapid combos as opposed to just jumping.

Being released for Wii and 360, and possibly PS3.

That werewolf Sonic doesn't look too badass, but I like the look of the gameplay. I've played Sonic 06 before, and from what I can tell, it's not a very fun game. I just hope this next one is way better.
