My favorite is probably Sonic X because it is the closest to the actual games and they even had Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 storylines. I also really liked Sonic Underground a lot.

yea... I liked the thing where they stuck to SA2: battle and stuff... but I don't like bit where they put Chris in and made Shadow look so evil 3=. I'm okay with SU... but its really annoying. I got the whole series at home... and the ending was they never found their mother! -.-" and I really disliked Sonia -.-"

It was a tough choice between AoSTH and SU, but I had to go with Sonic Underground. I loved it. I love the ending on how they never find their mother. It's just the idea that they never find her that makes me smile.

I completely hated Sonic X and never will like it because of Chris. I hate it so bad. Chris is very offending to me.

Chris has always ruined it. He took the parts of Rouge and Shadow mostly. I think he's asking for, like, ultra hardcore rapeage from Sonic or something. Fucking kid always got in the way.

I liked, Sonic the Hedgehog the best, I remember when I was little, I only got to see it when I went to my grandma’s house because that was back when my family didn’t have cable… >.> I lived a deprived childhood... but nontheless, it’s a good memory. The only other Sonic cartoon that I saw was Sonic X, and I remember liking it at first, but it quickly got old.

SatAM Best series ever because it was so cheesy.

I would make myself wake up every Saturday morning JUST so I could watch this on Fox Kids and then the network discontinued it. The last episodes I saw my cousin lent me. They were worse than I remembered. :P

I'm having a Sonic fangasm at the moment and I don't know which I liked most. Sonic X was excellent except for that uber-faggot Chris..SatAM was kind of Cheesy but never the less awesome..Sonic Underground..I hated it until my Sister got me into it..Then again..AoStH was my absolute favorite show when I was a little shit..But then again, I still can't decide, I kind of liked them all..

They were all cheesy. I think the cheese equals and balances out. They were all just as cheesy as the next, I believe.

For me, I guess I'm pretty much undecided, the only show I've had alot of exposure too is AoStH, I've never watched SatAM, only seen a minority of X and Underground... So I can't really decide.

AoStH, i loved that show back in the 90s, and now i love it even more. After i saw several YouTube Poops, using AoStH clips, i just wanted to watch the actual episodes again, either on YouTube or TV.

Then when i started creating poops myself, i was overjoyed to hear the fact every single episode was coming out on DVD. Us folk from the Uk got every single episode in one box set, and i just cant get enough of them. I know we cant bring the cartoon back, as it wouldnt be the same without Long John Baldry as the voice of Robotnik (unless they got someone like Brian Blessed to fill in his shoes, he has the same kind of voice - dramatic and funny), but i still say Scratch and Grounder should make a return to either a cartoon or the games (if voiced - then with their original voices from AoStH). And i also say that Jaleel White should be the new voice of Sonic, that was by far the best. XD

Yeah, Jaleel White (AKA Steve Irkel) is the best voice for Sonic in the cartoons, although Ryan Drummond from the Adventure series is pretty good too.

Yeah, you would never beleive that the guy that done Sonic's voice would be the Urkel. xD

Honestly, i dont understand why Sega got rid of the old voice actors in Sonic Adventure. I know they had to replace Eggman, but everyone else was fine. The 4Kids actors make it too obvious that it's an actor doing the voice, at least with folk like Ryan Drummond it actually seemed like the voices werent acted - excluding the 'Look out, your gonna crash, ah!' bit from Sonic Adventure. And Knuckles' new voice is just plain awful. The only ones i think that are actually any good are Eggman and Shadow, and maybe one or two others, but what do i know. :/

For me, I'm gonna have to say the OVA dub voice, Martin Burke.
I just loved the style of his voice, like how he keeps the original Sonic intact with Adventure stlye Sonic. But that's just me. =P

I've never liked Chris. I always found him fussy and in the way, and I hated him in the Sonic X episodes that were supposed to look like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. He pissed me off in every episode.

Yeah, he is kind of annoying. I mean, he's a character that wants Sonic all to himself .... and that just annoys me. =/ I dont hate him, but i do see him as pointless. XP

What the Sonic series needs is sidekicks such as Scratch and Grounder back. They were one the greatest cartoon double-acts ever, if not the best. Forget Beco and Deco (or whatever you call them), Scratch and Grounder are awesome ... mind you, i am kind of glad they didnt ruin the two of them by putting them in Sonic X. They need at least a cameo in a game.

I never liked Sonic Underground because it was ridicuosly stupid. AoSTH had a fun and cartoony kind of way. SatAM had a scary and serious kind of tone with it. Sonic X had a combination of AoSTH and SatAM. That's one reason I liked Sonic X. Not to mention Some voice actors are good for the show.

I only saw SATam and a bit of the first season of Sonic X. Satam was an excellent series, although some of it was it a little silly and cheesy, it delivered some simply excellent material such as the episodes Sonic and Sally, Super Sonic and Sonic's Nightmare. And the theme song was great too.

Based on the little bit I saw of Sonic X, the first episode was absolutely awesome. When I first heard of humans in Sonic, I thought it was just stupid but then when I saw the first episode I understood why and I thought it was pretty awesome and the episodes that followed were pretty good until I saw 'I Want To Be Respectedd' the one with the robot posing as the teacher..I just found it so ridiculously silly and childish, I was very put off by it. I watched a few episodes after but I don't remember being too impressed. I haven't seen it since, but can anyone tell me how the show progressed, like how's it been and all so far?

Ive seen most of series 3 for sonic x, it was pretty okay but they were the english dubs so half i wanted to see had been cut out.

Then I've seen loads of episodes of Sonic X and I liked it, except for Chris.

I think that Sonic X got the best of Shadow in the terms of emotion. His personality was off, though, but at least he was a little more open and daring.

Well, I thought that Shadow is reeeeeeally at his best when he's around Rouge. I'm not suggesting anything, but I mean they ARE friends. I think that the first time they got him to laugh or chuckle was around Rouge. :cool:

I'm sorry Sparky but Sonic Underground was horrible!!!!:o It even made Knuckles look worse in the show than in the game and that really hurt my feelings back then when I first saw Knux on a tv show since he was my fav back then....... He was in my favorite color!:)

Aosth was the shit when I was young and even now. Robotnick and his minions made the show though, if it weren't for them it'd be a half an hour of Sonic and Tails prattling on about chili dogs and Sonic telling you not to do drugs. "shivers"

My least favorite would have to be Sonic X. Sub-Par Animation, Chris, and bad voice acting just doesn't make for a great show.

The Shadow drama on Sonic X was off da heezy though. =3
There wasn't a lot of it.... oh well. But still, I remember I was cuddled up on the couch snuggling my Shadow plushie and then I saw a preview for the next episode and there were people singing "Shaaaadowww" and the next episode was all about Shadow.

...I can't describe how excited I was. AH, good times, gooood times.

Sonic X is so awesome because that evil Dr Ivo Robortnik/Dr Eggman never gets the chance to shout "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG" and Scratch and Grounder should make their appearance as retired badniks along with Coaconuts as a retired Badnik eager to get even with Sonic.

I also like the very first Sonic the Hedgehog where Sonic defeats Dr Ivo Robortnik/Dr Eggman and the only thing Dr Ivo Robortnik/Dr Eggman does when he loses his temper is him shouting "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG".

Now that you mention it, I DO kind of miss whenever he screams that he hates Sonic. It was cool. But it came with the series, yano. Kinda died out with series.

I miss Scratch and Grounder. They were better than those two bozos on Sonic X, although I like Bokkun.

I have to vote for Sonic SatAM, Sonic X is okay, nice artwork and all, but Chris ruins it, AND 4Kids made it even worse.
1. It's called SONIC X, not "Hey look at me, I'm a stupid kid that can't stay out of the effin way" X.
2. 4Kids should have NEVER gotten their hands on it. The original Jap versions were perfectly fine, except for a few curses (if you wanted it to be a kids show). They should have re dubbed it, took out the curses, but then leave everything else the eff alone.
3. SatAM, I don't know, I've seen quite a few of the episodes online, and even though it's older than Sonic X, it appealed to me more. Robotnik actually sounds evil, there is no love-sick Amy, and their princess knows how to effin defend herself.

For me Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) by far my favourite. So dark and yet fantastic. AoStH was a bit too childish for me and Sonic X I just CANNOT get into at all. I have watched a lot of it and apart from cute characters it is not a show I can watch without getting annoyed and moaning about it.

I_Luv_Tails I need to agree with you also Amy not being in it is a good thing and the same with Robotnik - for one he IS called Robotnik which is evil and he actually is evil. It's impressive... SatAM was a good show.

yeah... i still think Sonic X was my favorite because the show showed me what Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 was about since I didn't have the games. SatAM... I just didn't fall for it. HATED Sonic Underground. AoStH was a bit too cartoony for me. Oh and by the way that was Toon Disney not Disney Channel!

To be perfectly honest, they're all pretty unwatchable, partly because whoever is writing the script completely sucks at life. In Youtube Poop form, AoStH is probably the most tolerable.

The Sonic OVA is the best of them all in my opinion. The edgy moments, the criminally bad voice acting, not to mention the best animation style of any Sonic thing on TV. It was also the last time he really had any attitude, the middle finger made about a quarter of the movie. A couple of people I know actually remembered the movie too, and pretty much echoed my sentiments of "this is what it was like when it didn't fucking suck". A TV show version of this could have taken down Pokemon, or at least Sailor Moon.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is my favorite. It's wacky and corny, but that's what makes it great! I also liked how it was mainly Sonic and Tails, no Freedom Fighters. The show also captured the spirit of the early games better than SatAM, which I always found a little too dark for my liking, especially since Robotnik was 100% evil instead of a goofball villain.

What I saw of the Sonic OVA, it seemed good, but I never got around to watching the whole thing. Sonic Underground I can't speak of, since I've never seen it.

Sonic X? I really hate Sonic X. Before people start jumping down my throat saying "The Japanese version is better!", let me say I am talking about the Japanese version. 4Kids didn't ruin this show, it was horrible to begin with. I'll admit, I liked it a few years ago when I was a rabid Sonic fanboy and liked almost anything related to Sonic, but now that I'm more mature and not biased, I see what a terrible series it is. Is it so much to ask for an anime adaptation of a video game series without so much focus on the anime-only characters?
